It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for—the Endless Media update! Okay, I’m joking, but I do have some fun stuff to share.
The big news? My screening of the documentary Crossing Lines: An American Ride (on Amazon) in Austin, Texas, in front of a crowd of around 200 to 250 members of the OpenGov team. If this is your first email—or at least the first one you’ve opened—here’s a little backstory.
In 2021, I followed Zac Bookman, CEO and founder of OpenGov, as he biked across the country, nearly 3000 miles from the San Francisco Bay to the Chesapeake Bay. Along the way, we faced wildfires that forced us off course and a flash flood that swept our support vehicle away. Through it all, Zac was committed to finishing the journey, and I was committed to capturing him riding—while also breaking off to interview everyday Americans across the country. OpenGov and Zac continued to support the project by endorsing it, giving me creative freedom, and even funding a portion of the film. So, you can imagine how much of an honor it was to present Crossing Lines to the company.
I also put together a short vlog on my trip and cut down the Q&A so those interested can listen to some of the audience questions and responses.
As a fun side note, while in Austin, I dropped off a copy of my new book, The Unknown Adventurer (on Amazon), at Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership—with a poster that had his name on it. The security guard gave me a skeptical look, and I couldn’t help but smirk. I told him "I realize he probably won’t get it, but if you have a chance to leave it for him, I’d appreciate it". I think he valued my honesty, no idea if he got it or will ever, but it's not the point. The point is in the intention. I intend to get on his show, this is the first step. After chatting with security for a few moments, I headed upstairs, caught a show, and had a great night with some seriously talented comedians. I was a really fun night, and I ended it with a slice of pizza.
New documentary with Olympic Boardercross, Jake Vedder coming...

If you’ve been following along on my social channels (below), you know I’ve been working on a documentary with Olympic Boardercross athlete Jake Vedder. In November, I traveled to New Hampshire to film him training, then headed to Detroit shortly after to capture his day-to-day life. We’re now in the process of fine-tuning the edit—stay tuned for an exciting new piece!
